3 Simple Steps to Achieve Your Goals

On any Road to Success there will be many obstacles to overcome. A Road road to richesto Riches is laden with obstacles. A great person once said if it were easy everyone would be doing it. Any great achievement takes time, perseverance, hard work and consistency. WHAT WE HAVE IS WHAT Darren Hardy calls the Compound Effect. This is doing simple little steps consistently over time to achieve great things.

The Key is to NEVER give up!!! Failure is not an option. I will proceed until I achieve my goals…

I have a few simple steps to take to help you on your path to Success and achieving your goals so you can “Live Your Dreams” !!!

3 Simple Steps to Achieve Your Goals

  1. Write Down Your Goals: Writing down your goals is the first thing you want to do. Why do you want to do this? Because have yougoal writing never written them down in the past! If you do write your goals down in a journal, have you evaluated and modified them lately? You see the definition of insanity is to do the same things day in and day out and expect things to be different. Writing down your goals will solidify, or in other words make real, the thoughts floating around in your mind. Your goals will also hold you accountable.
  2. Action Plan: Next you are going to need a plan of action. these are the money making steps you will need to do daily and consistently to take you on your path to achieving your goals. These may be things like; making a list, daily marketing, calling leads, calling prospects, having meetings learning new skills and bringing value to the marketplace. This is also where time management comes in handy. Give your time limits for each action; such as I will make calls between 5:00PM and 7:00PM. Or write and article and post it and syndicate it 1 hour per day; say between 10:00 AM to 11:00AM
  3. Start NOW and Take Action consistently. Procrastination is the number one cause of failure. Putting things off until tomorrow will guarantee you do not achieve your goals. The thing is if you wait for tomorrow, tomorrow will never come. Life is a now experience. Now I make a change, Now I take the first step of many. Also remember: to achieve great things you will have to step outside of your comfort zone. You know you are making progress when you feel uncomfortable and you do it anyways!!

Alrighty then…

Now that you have these three important and simple steps to get you going on the path of positive change and transformation go right now and pick up future successa nice journal from your local store, if you dont already have one, and start writing down your goals.

Give yourself a 10 year plan, where you want to be in 5 years, 3 years 1 year and a month from now. You can always reevaluate and create new goals as you achieve the ones you set for yourself so stop procrastinating and plug yourself into the Law of Attraction of the Universe!!

Successful Network Marketing – The Reality

I first encountered Multi Level Marketing/MLM/Network Marketing in 1991. It was a company, I’m sure you have all heard of, called Amway. A old neighbor of my brother and I invited us to Burger King to prospect us. We both thought it was a scam, LOL!!!!

I was broke, working at a gas station pumping gas, making minimum wage at the time. So what did I know?.

Fast-foward 21 years I have been with 6 MLM companies from health and wellness to Legal services until I finally found my “perfect fit” in January of 2011.

I never made any money before the current company I am in. here are several reasons why…

The Reality.

1. Although I really pushed the products, most people weren’t interested in antioxidants and legal insurance. The main objection was that they didn’t want to risk any money.

2. I didn’t have enough start up capital to do my promotions justice and although I introduced users and promoters I always fell just short of the monthly join up requirements to be paid. Being paid for my efforts might just have made the difference if I could have used what I had earned to increase my promotions.

3. I joined with a very nice lady but she was also new to network marketing. As her upline didn’t offer any help to her we helped each other. It was fun but like the blind leading the blind.

I tried with that company for several months and never got paid. In the meantime I started a brick and mortar computer repair business. Getting over 35,000 dollars in debt, working 60 to 70 hours per week and barely breaking even…

I thought there has got to be a better way. And also I dint make a good employee!!!

I knew people who had piles of the products stashed away and never likely to be used. Why? Because some of the companies require you to buy an amount of product every month before you are paid for your efforts and your downlines efforts.

Companies shifting the goalposts just when promoters start to do well.

I would get telephone calls inviting me to join a wonderful opportunity. Because I am polite I didn’t tell them to get lost when they were extolling the virtues of companies that I probably knew more than them about. I would list my objections and get really annoying answers:

I’m not interested in the product
…The product doesn’t matter you will soon earn lots of money

I haven’t got time
…You only need to spend an hour a week on this business

I already have a lot of projects on the go and wouldn’t be able to do this business justice and spend time helping those who joined with me.
…They won’t need any help this business is easy to run

I could go on but I’m sure you get the drift. I really grew to detest network marketing and some of those that it attracted, but being in daily contact with them was part of my business so grinning and bearing it was a daily chore.

Until one day I had the pleasure of meeting an online marketing “guru”. He plugged me into his system. I started learning every week new skills to build my company online.

That guy impressed me, he became very successful and his downline was successful. So now I work hand in hand with many of the top leaders in Network Marketing and my primary business. Now I bring value to the marketplace with the skills I have learned along the way.

So the moral of the story is plug into a system and find a mentor to take your business and your life to the next level!!

5. Follow up several times to build familiarity and credibility with your prospect. Use an autoresponder to help you in this, but don’t depend on it. There is nothing like a good, old fashioned conversation to build trust. Sending a postcard in the mail may also help a lot!

6. Be a real person. Tell, don’t sell! Avoid sales pitches, instead, share your own story. Network marketing is about being your authentic best self. Let your heart and your integrity shine, and people will remember you and trust you. When they are ready to try your product or join your team, they will call you!

Training the New Network Marketing Distributor: Being a Good MLM Sponsor

Today I would like to discuss “Being A Good Sponsor.” While many of the people you recruit into your organization may have had previous experience in network marketing, many will be first timers.

Similarly, if you’ve been successful in recruiting people who were involvednumis network marketing in other network marketing companies, you sponsored them because they were discouraged with their current company or were not receiving support or training. In other words, they weren’t as successful as they would have liked to be.

Wouldn’t that indicate to you that they don’t know the best way to do things? Well, that’s where you come in helping them lay that track for others to run on. Again, when new distributors know what works, they can proceed with confidence, and confidence is the harbinger of success. Remember, people are not duplicable, but systems are.

Being a Good Sponsor

Being a good sponsor means showing your new distributors “The Rules:”

Rule No. 1: Treat it Like a Business.
In order to be successful, your new distributors must truly want success, be coachable, and follow through on their commitments. In other words, they need to treat this business like a business.

Rule No. 2: Keep it simple.
If they can follow a simple procedure they will use the same system with their contacts. If they can see that what you did was simple, they will believe they can do it, too. If you had to really work on them, more or less “forcing” them into the business, your new distributors will not want to duplicate what you did and will not take any action.

Rule No. 3: Determine Their Reasons.
If you know what your new distributor wants from this venture, that is, why they want to succeed, you can understand how to get them over the rough spots and keep them on the road to success. Remember, most people will be tempted to quit with the first few setbacks because they were never clear on what they wanted to achieve in the first place. If their “why” is strong enough, the “how” will be easier to get across.

Rule No. 4: Establish Objectives.
Set specific sponsoring and financial objectives for the first 30, 60, and 90 days. People always perform better when they have specific goals in mind. Have your team member write down their goals and reevaluate them regularly.

Rule No. 5: Introduce Your Upline
Introduce new distributors to their upline, those leaders who are building a successful business and who are earning the type of income they’d like to earn. That way, if you’re not available to help them, they will have names and telephone numbers of others (you should give them at least 3) who they can contact for support. Further, by meeting others who are earning the type of income they’d like to earn, the system becomes more realistic and attainable.

Rule No. 6: Where’s the Tools?
Make sure they know how to get the tools they will need to share the business with others., such as tapes/CDs, brochures, business cards, etc. Every business needs information to disseminate with prospects. This one is no exception. Remember, people are not duplicable, but systems are. Teach them to let the tools do the talking for them.

Rule No. 7: Make a Prospect List.
Although everyone who makes a list doesn’t necessarily become a top earner, every top earner has a list. Typically, they’ll start with their Warm Market, because that’s the people they know. Have them work towards making a list of at least 100 people they can contact.

At this point, your new distributor should be ready to go. They have their “reason why” clearly in mind, specific objectives for the next 90 days, their upline’s contact information for plenty of support, the tools to get started, and a list of people to contact.

Having said that, remember Rule No. 8: Let Them Move at Their Own Pace.
Sponsoring a distributor is a process, not a single event. If they don’t want to move as fast as you do, that’s OK. You can’t change human nature. People will only do what they are willing to do. Encourage, yes, but don’t try to force people into something they aren’t willing to do. Lead by example.

I see all over the Internet people claiming to make tons of money from the latest network marketing or MLM program. All of these income claims are usually outrageous and often make you and your emotions run wild as you reach for your credit card to quickly sign up with the latest program that will guarantee you early retirement.

I wrote this article not to discourage you but to prepare you…

So how are there a select few online who can profit, while a majority will never succeed?

I personally believe that it is not possible for the newbie Internet user to make a lot of money in network marketing or MLM online and I have listed some of the main reasons below.

Why you will Fail in Marketing Online!!

I. You do not have a network of people to make you money

Another name for network marketing is MLM or “Multi-Level Marketing“. If you want to succeed in a network marketing program it is all about the size of your network. So what is a network? It’s an solid set of contacts who know you and trust you. A more common term for networks on the internet is “a list“. A list is a group of people sometimes thousands of them who have chosen or opted-in to receive a newsletter or e-mail from the list owner.

Most of the major distributors online in network marketing have a huge list. When they find a new MLM program to join, they send an email to their list promoting it and you guessed it…their downline grows virtually overnight. Then they can sit back and count their money as their downline promotes for them and does all the work.

II. You are unknown

Don’t think that being an unknown counts with all the millions of Internet users. In the world of network marketing being a well known marketer has a huge advantage.

If you build trust with people they are more likely to follow you. As I mentioned before, the top network marketers have a huge mailing list, that usually took them years to build, that trusts them and is therefore willing to sign up to almost any program that they promote.

It’s no different than a top celebrity coming on your TV and telling you to buy a certain brand or product. Familiarity builds trust online. Personal Branding goes a long way.

This can also work the other way around. When you’re a well-known Internet marketing guru, people notice you, including the big network marketing distributors. They know that you have good recruiting power so they want you in their downline to build their organization as quickly as possible. Some of the leading MLM companies will even pay large ammounts of money for these leaders to join their company.

III. You will not hear about the new network marketing program until it’s too late

The keys to success in network marketing or MLM is having a huge downline that will do the work for you. That means that you need a downline of experienced and dedicated network marketers. All the good network marketers already know about the program and have already signed up or dismissed it as unviable. They were probably on the mailing list of a big network marketing player and heard about it right after it was launched.

Who will be left for you to build your network? Not many people. Most people you approach will already have heard about the program and might even already be in it or might just be sick of hearing about it. You might be lucky enough to sign-up a few people who weren’t aware of it before. Unfortunately, those people are very unlikely to bring in lots of new recruits for your downline. In general, the money they bring in will barely cover your own monthly fees. Eventually they’ll become fed up and quit. Leaving you desperately trying to sign someone new up so you can cover your monthly dues.

As an in-experienced Internet marketer you need to forget about all of the “get rich quick” and “early retirement” scams online and concentrate on building a slow and steady residual income and “get rich slow“. It is a reality, and you can start with absolutely nothing! Start building your business offline while learning and slowly implement an online strategy.

The Rarely Told Truth About Network Marketing

Today I am going to talk about something that seems to be one of those things that people either love or hate. What I am talking about is network marketing, also called mlm or multi-level marketing. Right from the beginning I will say that there is no need to have extreme views about this, it is simply a business model that you can use if you wish.

However, it is crucial that you understand HOW the business model of network marketing works.

I think there are basically two reasons that some people seem to be almost electrocuted, simply by hearing someone mention the word network marketing. Either they have tried it themselves, and because they didn’t have a clue on how to do it they failed miserably. Or they belong to the network marketing pyramidgroup of people who can’t get the idea that mlm = pyramid scheme out of their heads.

This second misconception is easy to debunk. Pyramid schemes are illegal almost everywhere, do you really think large multinational companies could operate year after year on an entirely illegal basis?

Secondly, this view on network marketing shows that the speaker is ignorant. He or she hasn’t done an ounce of homework on the various businesses that are available to each of us today, and they are ignorant of the industry itself.

This means they aren’t serious. It means they “would like” to make more money, but have no intention of making it happen. They continually “look” for home businesses, which is enough to satisfy their minds that they “did everything they could“, but everything they find out there is flawed and are “scams”. They are looking to buy “hope”, not a business.

There is a Chinese saying that goes something like this:”If you spend too much time thinking about your next step, you will be standing on one leg for the rest of your life“. Yes, there ARE scams out there, but mlm is not a dirty word and it is not a synonym for scam. Get over it!

As for the comparison to a pyramid in general – think of any company that comes to mind. The company will probably have a CEO, president, vice presidents, middle management, a sales force, and hourly employees.

It goes without saying that the guy at the top, the CEO, is going to make the corporate pyramidmost money, and the compensations continue to decrease down the ladder which starts at his cushy leather chair. The only way to get paid more and move up the ladder is to boot someone else out of their spot – and this is what people call okay and normal!

Not to mention the fact that the corporate slave masters seem to have no problem with working people to the limits…and then kicking them out the door before any of the benefits kick in. (As always there are some exceptions, of course). How is this any less pyramid than network marketing? All people in the company work hard, but ONLY those at the very top has “permission” to make a lot of money.

Now, in network marketing the basic idea is that it will be of great benefit to everyone involved to help people who are new reach the top. In fact the whole business idea hinges on this idea – the only way to become really successful in the long term is to help others. Of course there will always be a mathematical limit to how large a network can become, but with todays global marketplace, and a suitable compensation plan, there is usually plenty of room for everybody.

A network marketing company can diversify and find new markets, just like all companies have to.

But what about the miserable statistics of network marketing, the over 90% drop-out rate etc.?

This is mainly caused by the simple fact that not many people know how toNumis Network Compensation Plan do network marketing correctly. And I must admit that some network marketing companies are responsible for this themselves, by limited training and support.

You see, this is a somewhat unique industry. Most people don’t realize that network marketing is a business of marketing and promotion pursued by people who have NO IDEA how to market and promote.

* People will PAY YOU to prospect them

You should learn that this is not at all about the Vitamins or whatever product your company is selling. In fact, this is one of the single biggest mistakes people make in network marketing.

And now with the internet and a real business opportunity to promote, people no longer have to cajole, persuade, argue and simply create pressure for others to join their program.

Gone are the days where you had to approach strangers in the mall and posting flyers on peoples windshields!!

You can then market your website in any way you choose. You can use both the various online and offline techniques in order to drive traffic to your site or lead capture page. The benefit of doing this is your marketing efforts work whether you’re working or not.

This is the process where Internet and Network Marketing go hand in hand. You do not have to make direct contact with a single individual until they are interested in the product and the opportunity.

There is however also a misconception with this relationship. Many people have the idea they will build a website and on seeing the website people will come to them and the business will run on its own. Exclusively online business does not necessarily mean you will never need to speak to a stranger on the phone.

The internet is a tool you can use to promote your network marketing opportunity to a wider audience. You now have the power to market your website to people around the world from the US to Kenya to India to China.

Successful business people, such as Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump, when asked about what the average person can do to create financial independence; have suggested network marketing as a viable option. They talk about leverage and the need to have your money work hard for you. Network Marketing gives you this leverage and now the internet is a tool you can use to significantly leverage your time.

Is Your Understanding Of Network Marketing Outdated?

I knew things in our industry had changed, but I didn’t realize just HOW MUCH they had changed until recently. Now we all know nothing stays the same, and progress is always welcome in Network Marketing, but I don’t think many of us are truly aware of the vast differences we’ve seen technology bring in just the past few years.

Ten years ago–even five years ago–a successful couple or individual working in Networking limited themselves by prospecting in exclusively their local market. Their local circle of influence.

Mike and Rita were about the best Networking team around a few years ago. They held weekly meetings at the public library and held even more meetings at their home. If you made any contact whatsoever with Mike and Rita, they would keep your phone and fax warm for days until you finally signed up on their program.

Not only that, but a BIG part of Mike and Rita’s success was due to their non-stop mailing of sales letters and postcards. Rita spent many a night posting their prospecting ads on Internet sites and newsgroups.

More than once they got kicked off of AOL and other ISP’s for being too aggressive when contacting prospects — a new no-no in the online age.

I supposed all the work Mike and Rita did was worth it, but at what cost? They worked night and day for years. And even then, I don’t think they were pulling in more than a few thousand dollars a month.

Now let’s fast forward to today. Mark and Sandra are the talk of the neighborhood. They live in a big expensive house and drive a luxury car. Most people can’t figure out how Mark and Sandra afford it. They’re seen at home all day and go on lengthy vacations five or six times a year.

That part makes me smile, because I KNOW what Mark and Sandra do. They’re working in direct sales and MLM from home. Only there is a key difference in what they’re doing from what Mike and Rita were doing a few years ago.

Mark and Sandra use completely automated online systems to find huge numbers of leads, then filter through the leads to find only the best. Only then do Mark and Sandra start talking to their leads.

You see, Mark and Sandra don’t spend their days prospecting. They let the technology do all that prospecting and cold calling for them. The only time Mark and Sandra talk on the phone or answer an email is when a very hot prospect requests their call.

And here’s the good part: Because the technology takes so much of the work out of direct sales, Mark and Sandra are able to work less hours and make more money. Rather than earning a few thousand dollars a month, they’re bringing in TENS OF THOUSANDS.

The disappearing pension plan and retirement plans are making it more appealing to work at home. At one point, if you were working at a high income career you would most likely have had a pension plan set up by the corporation you worked for. A certain amount of money was withheld from each paycheck. The pension plan was a promise that you would no pensionreceive that money many years later upon retirement. It may not have been enough to live on, but you knew that a specific amount of money was coming to you each month.

Pension plans and retirement plans are becoming a thing of the past…

It wasn’t even two decades ago that you had to worry about your retirement. You went to work, earned your money and lived your life. On payday your pay stub noted the amount of money that went into your pension plan. When it came time to retire, the money you never missed from your paychecks for years should now be coming to you monthly.

It’s because of this people are looking for business opportunities elsewhere. This is one reason that working at home is becoming so appealing. That, and the thought of not having an income once you are retired is a scary thought. Network marketing, or Multi Level Marketing, is one way around this, by building a residual income yourself and your family. Plus once built it is a business you can leave behind to your family.

Multi Level Marketing (MLM) has gotten a bad reputation over the years. There are legitimate ones, but the internet is flooded with illegal ones claiming to be legitimate. It is up to you to research and find a legitimate company before you commit to anything.

Finding a good and reliable network marketing business is possible. By putting in some hard work and dedication you can easily build yourself a numis network marketingsuccessful residual home business. Find others that may be in your same situation and together you can help each other build a residual income that will continue to grow with the business.

Some companies that you would not think of as a network marketing business are in fact just that. Anytime someone signs up under you and in turn you make a percentage of their earnings is a MLM business.
